Elizabeth Hoekstra

Elizabeth is a teacher at heart.  She loves to communicate the truths of God’s Word and his character in her writing and speaking.  Through stories and transparency of her own struggles, she offers “the anchor of hope” found in scripture.  She has written 8 books, co-authored 3 others, and is a frequent speaker at women’s events through-out New England.  Each book and speaking event is tailored to offer encouragement to people as they take their next steps toward Christ.  Elizabeth and her husband of 26 years, Peter, live in Dublin, NH.  Her favorite years have been parenting their 2 children through their teen years and into adulthood.   Elizabeth loves being outside in God’s creation, eating butter pecan ice cream, playing scrabble, and taking long walks with her dog, Carson.
