Dear Monadnock Family and Friends,
We would like to gratefully share with you that we are humbled and amazed that you, our generous supporters, have donated more than $45,000 to our Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund! This is incredible! The greatest use of these funds so far has been the rent of a new orphanage building to house our 32 orphans and staff members in Port-au-Prince. This will allow them to begin sleeping indoors. We have also sent $2,000 to purchase food, water, and other needs in Cite Soleil (which is a very poor area). Currently we are purchasing medical supplies for future teams to Haiti.
In addition to the funds being raised, a team of 10 men was able to go down to Haiti February 8-13. They entered the country via the Dominican Republic fully equipped with sledgehammers, hacksaws, power concrete saws, MREs, and safety equipment. They completed the task of cleaning up the rubble at the house where our teams usually stay.
Again, thank you so much for your support of our Ministry in Haiti. We are so overwhelmed by God’s provision through all of you in this very difficult time.

Dear Monadnock Family & Friends,
Thank you for your continued prayers for our ministry in the country of Haiti. We wanted to let you know that the leadership in Haiti has decided to not move the orphans in our Redeemers Child orphanage to the north at this point like they had originally planned. The reason is because the tremors from the earthquake are beginning to move north to where our second orphanage is. In addition, the children in our Redeemer’s Child orphanage are receiving water, food, and shelter at this time where they are located. They are also in a very safe area and being watched by security every hour of the day.
We have just created a relief team that will be flying to Haiti within the first two weeks of February. This team will be working on the team house so that the March Medical Team will have a safe place to stay when they travel to Haiti. We ask that you please continue to pray for this process as we are awaiting plane entrance into Haiti.
For those that are inquiring about going to Haiti all of our teams are full until this fall. If you would like to find out about our fall teams you can go to our Haiti web page by going to our Haiti web page.
Thank you again for praying and for your support!

Greetings Monadnock Friends,
We are continuing to be in communication with our Director of Ministries in Haiti and it looks as though we will be moving our orphans that are in Port-Au-Prince to our orphanage that is in the northern part of Haiti the first of next week. If you could pray for the logistical issues that will surround this move we would greatly appreciate it. Likewise, as many of you know there was another earthquake yesterday in the country of Haiti and our team and orphanages are okay from that. Also, for those that have sponsored children with the “cmcpp” code in City Soleil we know to the best of our knowledge that the children are safe.
We want to say thank you to those that have generously donated medicine for medical relief when we travel to Haiti. If you are interested in donating medical supplies simple call our office (603-532-8321) and we can let you know the best method of getting the supplies to us.
Thank you for your continued prayers, we really appreciate them!

Greetings from Monadnock,
We are continuing to receive more information regarding our Bridge Builders ministry in the country of Haiti. Many inquiries have come in from those that sponsor the children in our orphanages and schools. The only school that we have not heard from is City Soleil; the code to those sponsored children is “cmcpp” for those that are checking. All of our other children in our schools and orphanages are alive and doing well. The newest development with our orphanage in Port-Au-Prince is that we are facilitating the process of moving those in our Redeemer’s Child orphanage to our orphanage in St. Michael. Please continue to pray for our leadership in Haiti as they work toward moving them there. We talked briefly with our Director of Ministry in Haiti this morning and he has communicated that the children and his family have been able to get some food and water but in small amounts. Please continue to pray for the safety and health of these children and our Director of Ministries family as well. In relation to our team house we now know that the roof on the third floor has collapsed and that there is damage to the stairways in the house.
We will continue to keep you up to date on what we know. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

Dear MBC friends and family. We are continuing to get more information about the specifics of our ministry in Haiti. We know that two Haitian young men that help clean and prepare for our work teams with our Director of Ministries in Haiti are also alive! We are now praising God that our two vehicles that transport our ministry teams in Haiti are in good working condition!
Please continue to be in prayer for the safety of our ministry leaders in Haiti and also the orphans that are in the apartment building across the street from our orphanage. We are so thankful for the contributions that we are receiving for our Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund through the mail and online!
Thank you for your commitment to the Lord!

Thank you for your continued prayers for our Bridgebuilders ministry in Haiti. We have been able to talk with our Director of Ministries for a few moments yesterday (1/14) and his family, one of our board members, and the orphans are alive. We do know that the front of our ministry team house which is also the home of our Director of Ministries in Haiti has been damaged and is unlivable at this point. Likewise, the children in the orphanage have moved to an apartment building across the street from the orphanage for safety reasons but we do not have specifics of the damage to the orphanage at this point.
Many people have asked if we are sending down an emergency team but we are not at this point because there are too many unknowns and logistics to work out at this time.
We are scheduled to send a medical team in March and that team is still planning on going.
We would ask that you continue to pray and if you would like to donate to our Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund you can do so on our website.
Thank you for your continued Prayers

“Thank you for your continued prayers for the country of Haiti and those affected by the recent earthquake and aftershocks.
We are still waiting to hear from some of our contacts in Haiti. Our Haiti business manager and his wife who operate Redeemer’s Child Orphanage in Port Au Prince and work with the mission teams that come from Monadnock Bible Conference, are there. In addition, one of our Board Members is there as well.
We are creating a fund to assist those in need. If you would like to make a contribution, please make checks payable to:
Monadnock Bible Conference, P.O. Box 70, Jaffrey, NH 03452, and on the memo line write “Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund”
Again, thank you for your prayers. We will keep you posted as more information is available.”
