Sue is the Registrar/Rental Group Coordinator/Volunteer Coordinator at Monadnock. Her main responsibilities involve all registrations for Monadnock programs as well as all rental group reservations. She also coordinates the kitchen volunteers, life guards and nurses. It is usually her voice you hear when you call Monadnock! She is in her 11th year of working here but was connected with Monadnock as a young person when she and her family camped in the campground, attended the Saturday evening smorgasbords and gospel concerts. At the age of 13 it was here that she was baptized in the pond across the street. Sue is also a pastor’s wife having been married to her husband of 40 years, Donn, who enjoys volunteering at Monadnock and teaching workshops at some of our retreats. Donn and Sue pastored a church in New Brunswick, Canada for 24 years before moving back “home” to NH fourteen years ago to pastor the First Baptist Church of Troy where they still serve. Sue has a passion for Christian camping ministry. She learned early in her marriage that Christian camping is of great benefit to believers giving them the time to get away from the stress and responsibilities of life and be in an environment where they can focus on their relationship with the Lord and others. Donn and Sue have three children and one grandchild. Sue’s favorite thing to do is to spend time with their family and especially their four year old granddaughter Emma.
